Advance Tickets Tickets, pit passes and driver registration may be purchased in advance on the My Race Pass App.
Animals Only certified guide dogs are allowed. Proper documentation is required prior to entry
ATM There is no ATM on the property at this time..
Autographs When all races are finished and all cars are parked in the pits, spectators will be allowed to enter the pits without wrist bands for autographs from their favorite drivers.
Bags/Backpacks All bags and backpacks are subject to inspection.
Banned Items For everyone’s safety, the following items are not allowed: laser pointers, glass containers of any kind, weapons of any kind or pets.
Behavior Respectful, family friendly behavior is expected from everyone at all times. Unruly or offensive behavior could result in ejection (without refund) from the property and/or be dealt with by local authority.
Cameras and Video Cameras and video are permitted but Desert Thunder Raceway requests that all photographs and videos taken be used for personal use and enjoyment only. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Desert Thunder Raceway is prohibited.
Camping Desert Thunder Raceway does allow RV’s to stay overnight on race events. RV’s pulling race cars may stay in the pits all others must park in designated areas. There is no charge to camp and there are no hook ups or fill/dump stations on site.
Children’s General AdmissionTickets Children ages 0-5 are free, ages 6-12 are $7. Prices may vary on special events.
Coolers Outside food and drink are not permitted in the Grandstands.
Commercial Photography By entering the track, each guest grants Desert Thunder Raceway the right to film, videotape, or photograph him/her on track property for any reason without payment or consideration. All Desert Thunder Raceway events are protected by copyright. Guests must have written permission to use photographs and/or videotape of Desert Thunder Raceway’s images for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing or publishing.
Concessions The concession stand is located behind the Grandstands and carries traditional racetrack food items such as hamburgers, hotdogs, nachos and pretzels as well as event specials such as pulled pork and ribs. Both Pepsi and Coca Cola products are sold.
Corporate Sponsorship Desert Thunder Raceway hosts thousands of fans each year. Many sponsorship opportunities are available to showcase your company or product. Please call the Raceway at 217-412-3424 or 217-433-0658 for information.
Credit Cards Desert Thunder Raceway is a cash only facility at this time.
Demonstrations Please note that Desert Thunder Raceway is private property. Desert Thunder Raceway retains the right to control both who has access to the property and what activities occur on the property. Demonstrations, protests, rallies and/or gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Any and all requests for such activities should be directed to management.
Fuel Race fuel will be available at the track during race events.
Gates Fan gates open at 5:00 pm most race nights. Times may vary for special events.
General Admission All tickets are general admission seating.
Grandstand Seating All seats are general admission. Race fans are allowed to place chairs or blankets in the stands to reserve their favorite spot. Desert Thunder Raceway reserves the right to remove any reserved seats that are not occupied by 6:30. (Honor System: the track is not responsible for moved items before 6:30 pm)
Guest Safety Desert Thunder Raceway reserves the right to inspect all packages, purses, backpacks...etc prior to entering the gate. Sharp objects, weapons, and illegal contraband are not permitted.
Hotels There are many great hotels in Price and several even give discounts to racers and fans of Desert Thunder Raceway. See the ‘Lodging’ page under the ‘Fan Info’ tab for a comprehensive list.
Media Credentials Media both regionally and nationally are welcome at Desert Thunder Raceway. All Media credential requests will only be considered by legitimate news-gathering outlets and must be submitted by the sports director or editor two weeks prior to the event. Please submit a Media Credentials Request form located under the ‘Media’ tab for approval.
Office Hours Desert Thunder Raceway business offices hours are from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday Mountain time. On race days please submit questions through email, Facebook or Instagram.
Parking There is no charge for parking. Event parking is available on a first come - first served basis.
Pit Access A pit pass/wrist band allows access to the pit area and grandstand area.The pit area is considered a restricted area and therefore a signed consent form is required before allowing entry to this area. (Form provided upon ticket purchase).
Public Address Paging Paging is not permitted except in cases that are deemed to be emergencies.

Rain Outs Desert Thunder Raceway has a NO REFUND POLICY: Keep your ticket stub, this will be your ticket for re-entry on rescheduled date. The rain date will be posted on the website.
Re-Entry Re-entry into the gate requires a ticket stub and proper hand stamp.
Rules Driver rules and regulations of all divisions are posted under the ‘Driver Info’ tab.
Seat Cushions/Lawn Chairs Seat cushions are permitted in all of the Grandstands. High back lawn chairs are permitted on the top 2 rows of the Grandstands. Please be courteous to those around you.
Smoking Smoking in all spectator areas, grandstands, concession lines or ticket lines is prohibited.
Tailgate Parking There is a limited tailgate parking above the backstretch for a truly unique Desert Thunder Raceway experience. All spectators in this area must purchase a pit pass.
Umbrellas Use of umbrellas is permitted but please be courteous to others.
Wheelchair Seating Wheelchair accessible seating is located at the top of the Grandstands.
Will Call Pre Purchased ticket holders and online ticket purchasers can check in at the will call window located at the South entrance.
